WINTERSTØ DUO

Winterstø Duo is Terje Winterstø Røthing and Thorbjørn André Bilstad Olsen. They are taking guitars, mandolin, banjo, two voices and a bunch of songs out on the road this fall. On Wednesday 18 November they will play with us at Studio Spornes Tyholmen. It is a good idea to secure your ticket now! This is going to be great! Terje Winterstø Røthing, known from Kaizers Orchestra and Skambankt, debuted this year as a solo artist with the album "Verdalen Zoo". After touring and festivals with a full band, there will now be a round with a more close and intimate approach, where the songs are allowed to breathe a little differently, and the stories behind them get more space. With him is Thorbjørn André Bilstad Olsen, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He has been a central part of the Winterstø band from the start, and leaves his clear mark on the soundscape with warm guitar surfaces, mandolin, banjo and vocal harmonies. The concerts will feature songs from "Verdalen Zoo", new Winterstø songs and some carefully selected gems from the Skambankt catalogue, dressed down, twisted a bit and performed like you've probably never heard them before.
