Torungen Swingkapell & Gjerstad Storband

Gjerstad Storband was an important supporter when Torungen Storband was established in 2002. Fifteen years later, Torungen Storband changed its name to Torungen Swingkapell in order to be able to stand on its own two feet with a smaller ensemble. Over the years, they have had many joint projects. This collaboration will now be celebrated with a joint concert, at the same time that Gjerstad Storband recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. The program includes light-hearted jazz with treats from well-known songs.
