A TRIBUTE TO THE KING For the third year in a row, Bård Rannekleiv Band invites you to a magnificent tribute to Elvis Presley in Arendal Kulturhus. After two years of full houses and a large audience, it is ready for a new evening dedicated to the music, energy and history of the King of "Rock and Roll". You will be taken on a musical journey through Elvis Presley's legendary career - from the explosive breakthrough in the 50s and the iconic rock songs, via film classics and gospel, to the great and emotional Las Vegas years. Over the years, Bård Rannekleiv Band has distinguished itself as a solid live band with roots in rock, blues, soul and Americana. The band consists of experienced musicians with a strong joy of playing and a sense of real and lively stage expression. For this concert, the band will perform with a full crew, its own guest vocalists and a powerful brass section - inspired by the sound that characterized Elvis's great stage productions. On stage, Bård Rannekleiv will be joined by Geir Emanuelsen, Tor Anders Stadheim, Halvard Eriksen and Rasmus Solem, flanked by vocalists Rebekka Lundstrøm, Lill Rannekleiv and Andre Stenersen, as well as a brass section with Odd Bjørn Jensen, Michael Villmow and Lars Andreas Haug. The concert will feature well-known classics, musical surprises and stories from different periods of Elvis' life and career. This is not a pure copy, but a living and respectful tribute to the music and legacy Elvis left behind - performed with musicality, energy and great love for the songs.
