About place:
The place is called Ulussat. I imagine that it was once a place where flint was collected to make
ulu (women’s knives). Every place gets a name.
We visit Torsukattak in the summer, in July/August, and sometimes we stay there through the
winter until December, as there is not as much sea ice anymore.
In recent years, there has been less ice, and the weather has changed significantly.
We may travel for up to five days to fish for Greenland halibut. Sometimes we stay there for
several days. We can reach it in 6–7 hours, but it depends on the route.
