Gateway to Blåfjella–Skjækerfjella National Park in Vera (Verdal). Approximately 60 km from the center of Verdal you will find Vera Community Center and the gateway to Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Park. There is parking (fee), information signs and a slate seating area. From here, several marked DNT trails lead into the mountain area, perfect for short and long walks. The area is used for grazing sheep and reindeer. Please be considerate and keep your dog on a leash.
