About place:
We have a fixed place at the quay where we dock our friend’s boat. We bring extra clothes and
some food for the trip. We have brought sand home - the sand from Qeqertarsuaq is very
special and beautiful, and we use it for my grandmother’s grave. I have not noticed major
changes due to permafrost thaw, as I do not go there very often. I do, however, clearly
remember that there was once very high tide.
