About place:
I have family from Qullissat - my grandmother. I usually visit the place by boat. I had not been
there for many years, but I returned in 2022. It was a powerful experience. My grandmother’s
house is no longer visible, as it was washed into the sea by a tsunami. My great-grandmother’s
house is still there. Now we have started going there every July, where we take walks and go on
excursions. As there are no sled dogs, children can move around freely without concern. As a
result of permafrost thaw, you can see landslides in the mountains.
