About event:
WHEN THE CHILDREN RUN THE SHOW!
Have you ever been home alone and baked a cake without a recipe? That's exactly what it feels like when the National Theatre invites young and old to the exuberant family performance "Cakejazz". Here, it's ready for a cake party, chaos and creative antics.
The Grytebust family is going to bake a cake, but then the phone rings! It's from the jazz club Den blå mugge. A jazz orchestra has canceled, and now they need mom and dad on stage right away. As soon as the door closes behind them, a wonderful new opportunity opens up. Now the children can make exactly the cake they want, and mix in anything they want! But what happens when they empty the urn with grandpa in the mixer?
"Cakejazz" bubbles with humor, rhythm and ingenuity. Gunnar Eiriksson is a sly and playful director and knows exactly what it takes to get the children to lean forward in their chairs and the adults to laugh along.
And who knows, maybe you'll even get to taste the cake!
Suitable for children aged 5 and up.
