Creedence StoryNight – med Fortunate Sons / Grimstad Kulturhus / 23. jan.

Norway's hardest working Creedence band is back with the crowd favorite - in a new, revamped version! In 2026, Fortunate Sons - The Creedence Experience invites you on a musical journey through time when they relaunch the show Creedence StoryNight - this time in a new, upgraded version. Ten years ago, the original StoryNight took audiences by storm, with sold-out performances throughout the country. Now the success is back - bigger, more energetic and with more musical surprises than ever. A tribute to rock history With classics such as Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Down on the Corner and Up Around the Bend, Creedence Clearwater Revival was one of the best-selling and most influential bands in rock history. For almost two decades, Fortunate Sons has toured Norway with their energetic, respectful and faithful interpretation of the originals - and is therefore referred to by many as Norway's best tribute band. It is not without reason that this was the band that NRK contacted when they were going to write a story about tribute bands in Norway. In Creedence StoryNight, the band takes the audience through CCR's legendary song catalog - chronologically and with stories about the songs, the band and the time they were created. In addition, the celebration of John Fogerty's 80th birthday continues, and the audience gets to hear some of John Fogerty's most iconic solo songs. More than a concert This is not just a concert - it is a musical story. The show combines the raw rock nerves, the blues drive and the sing-along friendliness of the originals, with anecdotes and historical flashbacks. The audience must prepare for both goosebumps and dancing feet - and the show comes with a sing-along guarantee. Fortunate Sons has played at everything from the Notodden Blues Festival and the John Fogerty Afterparty to full houses at cultural centers all over the country. Regardless of the stage, they always deliver the same thing: unrivaled playing pleasure, high energy and a credible Creedence experience. What the audience is saying “Magical concert – can’t wait for the next one!” “It was like being back at the 70s parties.” “As good as the original!” Get your track shirt ready – see you in 2026! Creedence StoryNight is made for both those who grew up with CCR on their turntables and those who have just discovered them. Here you will get all the sing-along favorites – plus a few surprises. Fortunate Sons – The Creedence Experience invites you to an unforgettable evening filled with legendary songs, musical storytelling and real rock joy.
