HINDQUARTERS IS AN EXACT SCIENCE Granerevyen embraces all know-it-alls and hindsight - and enjoys always knowing better, with a slant of course. School closures or not, Robeklista or not, battery factory or not, airline or not, hospital or not and what does the city council in Arendal really think… As always, the year offers countless opportunities to vent resentment and cast a sideways glance at everything that happens throughout the year in the city we all hold so dear. It is with love and joy that the ensemble takes stock of everything that has happened in the past year, and it is a pleasure and gives the audience the opportunity to enjoy things and things in the cityscape with us. And maybe more will nod and say … what did we say… Granerevyen is part of a proud revue tradition in this country, a popular, satirical and unique performing art form with roots back to the late 19th century. The crew is proud to keep a beloved revue alive and will, as always, deliver a collection of stand-alone numbers consisting of sketches, monologues, parodies and musical elements that kick things up a notch. A great crew is at work and in January the ensemble looks forward to delighting the audience with a mosaic from the past year. It's already time to rush around and buy tickets for Granerevyen. As usual, director Marianne Løge and revue manager Liffe are putting together all the pieces for another year and sorting all the good ideas into a laugh-out-loud and perhaps a little thought-provoking revue.
