Merdø

Merdø is a car-free island outside Arendal with a history as an old port with an inn, customs station, shipyard, pilot station and shop for a period. The island is today a popular area to visit in the summer, with nice old buildings, a network of paths, sandy beaches and the Merdøgaard archipelago museum.
