About place:
Set out from the boat launch at Grønningen and dream of big fish in legendary waters. Rent a boat from Snåsa Mountaineering Association, or go to Holderen and Gjevsjøen mountain farm.
Gateway to Blåfjella–Skjækerfjella National Park at Grønningen in Snåsa. There is a parking lot (road fee), information signs, slate tables, benches and an outdoor toilet. The area provides access to a boat trip on Grønningen and marked trails to, among others, Holderen and Gjevsjøen. Starting point for longer hikes in the mountain area.
The area is reindeer pasture. Please be considerate and keep your distance. Dogs should be kept on a leash.
