A spring near Gisovu is marked on Nyungwe’s official visitor map as a Source of the Nile. Gisakura Visitor Centre & Campsite

Gisakura is one of Nyungwe’s main visitor hubs on the western side of the park. The area provides visitor information and access to guided hikes, colobus tracking and community experiences. Gisakura Campsite is nearby, and the park’s 280-metre rope course is located at the Gisakura Visitor Centre.

Uwinka Visitor Centre, Campsite & Guesthouse

Uwinka Visitor Centre, Campsite & Guesthouse

Uwinka is Nyungwe’s central visitor hub, with the visitor centre, campsite and guesthouse. Ten hiking trails begin from Uwinka, and the Canopy Walkway, colobus tracking and the Nyungwe Zipline are accessed from this area. The café at reception is open for day visitors and overnight guests.

Munazi Lodge is a park-managed eco-lodge near Pindura, with nine A-frame cottages and 20 beds. Built with reclaimed exotic wood from the park, it provides a mid-range accommodation option within the Nyungwe landscape and links visitors directly to the park’s guided activities.

Kamiranzovu Waterfall is reached on one of the guided hiking routes in the western part of Nyungwe. The park’s visitor map lists the Kamiranzovu Waterfall route among its public walking trails.
