About event

Community Bathmaster (Level 2): Mastering the Craft of the Traditional Steam Bath This intensive Level 2 course is an upgraded training program designed for those who have mastered the fundamentals of Level 1 and are ready to deepen their technical proficiency. We move beyond basic skills to focus on advanced individual bodywork, the aesthetics of Home SPA treatments, and the art of leading community sauna rituals. During this course, you will transition from a student to a practitioner who understands the nuances of steam, the ergonomics of the body, and the dynamics of small groups. This knowledge is essential, as group rituals and community sessions account for nearly 90% of contemporary professional sauna work. Course Curriculum Day 1: Advanced Classical Whisking Refining whisking techniques with an emphasis on the front of the body. Developing a deeper "feel" for the steam and the client’s physiological responses. Mastering a full-body whisking sequence that is both effective for the client and safe for the practitioner. Day 2: The Art of Home SPA and Natural Treatments Exploring the historical roots of washing and scrubbing in traditional baths. Hands-on workshop: Creating your own natural body scrubs and cleaning products from organic materials. Mastering various skin exfoliation techniques and holistic SPA procedures. Day 3: Leading Community Rituals and Group Dynamics Integrating skills from Levels 1 and 2 to create cohesive sauna rituals. Designing and modifying rituals for small groups and communities based on specific circumstances and environments. Introduction to group whisking techniques and the essential foundations of a professional "saunaguide."
