DESCRIPTION:Our annual year-end fundraiser is a celebration of the upcomi
 ng release of our animal ambassadors\, and our beloved community!\n\nEac
 h year we change up the theme of our fundraisers to keep things fresh\, 
 fun\, and full of surprises. Our next fundraiser will be Saturday Novemb
 er 21st\, 2026!\n\nTICKET SALES HAVE BEGUN FOR OUR EVENING EVENT!\nCall 
 250-726-2782 to secure your ticket(s)\, or purchase in person at the Aqu
 arium during operational hours.\n\nThe Ucluelet Aquarium is gearing up f
 or something a little different this year— a Medieval Carnival! The even
 t will include a family-friendly daytime carnival for all ages\, and a t
 icketed evening event for adults\, with games\, challenges\, food\, musi
 c and fun!\n\nNovember 21st event details (more to come):\n\n12:00PM- 4:
 30PM - Family friendly event - Included with admission or season's pass\
 nPlay games\, collect tickets\, win prizes!\nBackyard burgers will join 
 us from 12:00-4:30pm\nEnjoy tricks from a magician\, live caricature dra
 wings\, and solve riddles from a Jester!\n\n7:00PM- 10:00PM - Ticketed 1
 9+ event - $45 early bird $55 at the door\nPlay games\, collect tickets\
 , win prizes!\nLive music 7-10PM\nComplimentary food from Heartwood Kitc
 hen\nDrinks for sale\nEnjoy tricks from a magician\, live caricature dra
 wings\, and solve riddles from a Jester!\n\nThis year\, our goal is espe
 cially exciting: to raise the funds needed to bring a brand-new exhibit 
 to life. The exhibit was donated to us from the Netflix film 'Remarkably
  Bright Creatures'. Every dollar raised gets one step closer to creating
  an engaging new experience for visitors and showcasing more of the incr
 edible marine life of our coast. If you are an individual or business wh

 plays a crucial role in sustaining our operations and implementing impac
 tful projects. The proceeds from our year-end fundraiser directly suppor
 t various initiatives\, including:\n\nEducational Programs: We provide e
 ducational programs for schools\, community groups\, and visitors\, fost
 ering a love for marine life and its ecosystems through our educational 
 programs\, the Healthy Harbour project\, is looking at the health of the
  Ucluelet harbour and its eelgrass habitats. The Salmon Trail is another
  educational program dedicated to raising awareness about the importance
  of salmon ecosystems through a self-led educational adventure between U
 cluelet and Tofino.\n\nExhibit Enhancement: Donations help us create and
  maintain innovative and informative exhibits\, ensuring that visitors h
 ave a memorable and educational experience during their time at the aqua
 rium.\n\nCommunity Outreach: We organize community events\, workshops\, 
 and volunteer programs to engage the local community in understanding mo
 re about the marine life in their backyard.\n\nOur Lovely Staff: We're c
 ommitted to being a living wage employer because our team is at the hear
 t of everything we do. Ucluelet is a stunning place to live\, but it als
 o comes with high living costs. To retain passionate\, knowledgeable sta
 ff\, we need to ensure they're financially secure. Our team of 13 year-r
 ound\, full-time staff bring expertise\, enthusiasm\, and a touch of ner
 dy joy to every visitor interaction\, while maintaining the high standar
 ds of animal care we're known for. By supporting staff wages\, you're he
